Ecru or off white guipure embroidered lace (from Switzerland) three piece ensemble of sleeveless full length coat, tunic jacket and fitted bodice gown. The coat has a single "broach" clasp at the bodice. The tunic jacket is fitted and has a small peplum. It was worn over the gown which also has a bra top cut. The lace coat is lined in white organza while the gown and jacket are lined in white taffeta. This gown was worn by Claire Haddad when she was accepting an award for her work at Ontario's first EDEE awards from the Economic and Development Department under the direction of the Honorable Stanley Randall. The awards were to encourage original Canadian design.
