Down the centre front of the bodice is a red decorative strip with the same red rick rack from the neckline on either side. The skirt portion of the dress is navy blue cotton with varying sizes of white dots. There is a ruffle of red cotton with varying sizes of white dots creating the hem. White rick rack trim is sewn on the seam that joins the navy blue and red cotton of the skirt. A 2 inch belt made from the navy blue cotton fastens at the waist. There is a 22 inch zipper in the centre back. There are shoulder darts on either side of the back as well as waist darts on each side creating shape to the dress.
