Blue rayon crepe ensemble of dress and shrug. The dress has a halter top edged with a multi-coloured striped satin. The back has a 3 panel open back which hangs from the neck to the waist. The waistline is highlighted with a belt. Beneath the waistline is a shirred panel with a similar panel in the back. The shrug's unique design is created with two pieces of fabric joined at the wrist with elastic in the 1 3/4 inch seam at the cuff. The sleeves are attached to a pointed collar in pink silver lamé. A tiny silver hook and eye fastens the collar at the wearer's throat.
