Gold and ivory three piece ensemble of jacket, strapless bustier/bodice and skirt. The jacket is an ivory and gold brocade double breasted, with princess line seams, front and back, large notched collar and full peplum. The sleeve has box pleats and 4 tucks that fit into the shoulder and is supported with shoulder pads. The sleeve is very full; almost leg o'mutton. The end of the sleeve has a slit and 4 pewter and pearl button decorations. The full peplum is created with 2 full circles that are joined with a centre back seam. The fullness of the peplum in back allows for inverted box pleats in the centre back. The bustier is draped/ruched gold lamé lined and boned with a side zipper. The skirt is also draped/ruched in gold lamé, pencil slim and ends just above the wearer's knee. There is a welted centre back seam covering a zipper.
