Purple evening suit; jacket and skirt. The fitted jacket has large shoulder pads, long sleeves that are pleated at the shoulder to create fullness and a shawl collar. The collar is accented with a double row of a black frill or small ruffle that also continues along the edge of the jacket closure and the hem. The jacket has two princess seams in the front creating a fitted silhouette. There are two large decorative buttons with a tassel on either side of the centre front opening. The closure of the jacket is achieved with hooks and eyes sewn inside and not visible. The straight/pencil skirt is 22 inches in length with a kick pleat centre back and a centre back zipper closure.
